There is some racing today - the penultimate round of the championship.Going in Timo Scheider had a seven point lead over Scotland's, sorry he's doing quite well, over Britain's Paul di Resta. ;)

di Resta actually won the F3 title a few years back beating a guy called Seb Vettel if I remember right...

Pointless fact time, Di Resta is a cousin of the Franchitti brothers.

Good old Ralf - good to see his name again. :lol) di Resta has done well in the DTM by all accounts though I don't know if it will lead to F1 or not.

I don't know, if Ralf was the third best driver in F1 last year then the standard in the DTM must be something very special indeed.

Had to wait until last night to watch the race, was out on Sunday so recorded it.

di Resta is showing fantastic talent and speed, he managed a podium last year with a 2005 (2 year old) car, and due to his impressive performance was given Mika Hakkinen's car over Paffet and Schumacher.

I like the DTM, always throws up some interesting races.

It's a shame Green is out of the championship running. I like him as a driver but don't think he's the quickest, most talented or ruthless driver but always want him to do well.
I was a fan of di Resta last year with his performances in an old car, this year he's shown he can compete for the championship, despite Mercedes poor form at the start of the year.

Final round at Hockenheim 26th October, only 2 points in championship battle!
