Congratulations Paul di Resta

Paul di Resta finished second in Shanghi today to win the DTM championship. :winner:

Also worth noting, that on the last day of the season, Coulthard earned his first point of the season finishing 8th with an overtake on former champion Mattias Ekstrom three laps before the race finished.

I wonder if this will help him land a Force India seat for 2011, as Autosport reported on September 23rd 2010.

The Mercedes DTM driver, former McLaren Mercedes test driver and current Force India third driver may be helped along by Mercedes desire to get him in an F1 seat as they currently supply Force India with engines.

Ralf got 3 points this season (achieved one sixth place). did have a pole position and finished that race out of the points.
In his first season, Ralf got 3 points.

IIRC Crazy Dave has had a year out, with no racing at all, where Ralf went straight to DTM.
Also would like to point out, both drivers were in older cars rather than the current models.

Paffett finished 2nd in the championship with 67 points. Not technically going from F1 to DTM, although did leave DTM after winning a championship to be a full time McLaren test driver.

Can't have a thread with people crashing without DC. :lol) Congratulations to di Resta would be good to have a Scot we could support in F1.Unlike when DC was driving when we just had a Scot in F1. :P
