The British Touring Car Championship has renewed its deal with British broadcaster ITV, with more air-time but a loss of live coverage on ITV1.

Instead, eight of the 10 rounds will have all three races shown live in five-hour programmes on satellite channel ITV4. The remaining two rounds will have all the races shown in full in a three-hour programme.

There will be a one-hour highlights programme on the Monday evening after each round, shown on ITV1. Digital station Men & Motors will also screen the highlights in the week after each meeting.

..."With five hours of live coverage on race day, ITV4 is able to devote more time and resources to fully cover our events, and to reflect on the series' history in what is the BTCC's 50th anniversary season."
