China's Congfu Cheng set the fastest time in the final free practice session for the A1GP finale at Brands Hatch on Saturday.

'Franky' enjoyed a session-long battle for supremacy with Team Great Britain's Robbie Kerr, who eventually ended up second fastest.

Indeed the Kent circuit specialist was briefly top towards the end of the hour, before Cheng improved his own time.

Cheng, whose car was fitted with a new Zytek engine on Friday, put his speed down to his enthusiasm for Brands Hatch: "This is one of the best circuits in the world, it's a fantastic place," he said.............
