In qualifying World Series by Renault champion Mikael Aleshin broke his hand in an accident and then at the start of the main race this happens. Fortunately Fabio Leimer was unhurt.

The race was won by ex F1 driver Romain Grojean. Briton Sam Bird was second.

On a non-accident related GP2 topic, does anyone know if Jules Bianchi has been dropped by Ferrari's driver development programme. He is driving one of the Lotus-a-like GP2 cars.

Bianchi is still in Ferrari driver development program,
[Ferrari's latest report on Bianchi's progress - http://www.ferrari.com/English/Formula1 ... unday.aspx]

it appears he's driving for Grouplotus/Renault sponsored ART run by Nicolas Todt !? his team-mate is Sauber's test driver...
