I am having a bit of a niggling issue with Windows 7. Every now and then (regulalrly, but intermittently) My Taskbar and sometimes the title bar of my window will sort of flicker, going partially transparent in places. It will do this constantly until I stop it, which I simply do by clicking on an empty part of it a couple of times and then it comes back.
This problem doesn't effect the running of my laptop or any of it's programs at all, it's just an annoyance and something I would like to fix.
I've done a search of google and checked several sites. It seems I'm not alone on this, but I've yet to find an answer that has fixed it for me.
Some have suggested switching to the Basic theme which disables all the 'aero' features. This to me doesn't really solve the problem and just hides it... besides, if I wanted to use the basic theme I would be.
Another suggested solution that looked promising was to update the driver for my display adapter. However my devices manager tells me that my drivers are up to date. So no luck there.
My Display adapter is a Mobile Intel 45 Express (GMA 4500M?)I think... and the driver version I'm running is 8.15.10.1749. This information may be of no use whatsoever, but thought I'd include it just in case.
Does anyone have any idea?
