Well, goodbye 2019 and goodbye to working life. I managed to retire 4 days before my 64th birthday, (April 5th). Funny thing is the fact that smoking went 4 days after my 60th (April 13th).
With the benefit of hindsight it would have been a year earlier. It's surprising how little income is needed when you take the expense of working out of the calculations.

Getting settled into the routine of not working now.

One Tuesday a month it's a visit to Thame market (The Cross Keys and The James Figg).
One for Wantage market (The Shoulder of Mutton and The Kings Arms).
Two days a month to Witney (The Oxbrew and The Angel).
The odd jaunt to Faringdon (Red lion and The Old Crown).

How did I find time to work?

Hi All!?

Is this still working? I thought that it had all closed down?

Anyway, greetings to all mumblers out there. Stay safe, as they say!

Hi Stoozie,

Greetings! :Barman:

We're still here... for now
I renewed the domain name as the the predictions league and fantasy games were ongoing. I didn't want the site to just disappear so renewed again this August for two years.

Just got used to being a regular at the Oxbrew in Witney (plenty of gluten free beers to choose from) Dark and Seedy was my chosen tipple.
We have our own brewery just around the corner from home (The Tap Social) Tung Feeler is gluten free. We can smell when they are brewing when the wind is right.
Teardrop in the covered market must rank as one of the smallest (used to be a fishmongers).

Then along came covid 19 to spoil it all.
