Today

9am - First cars on Stage 1, Hafren
4pm - Gates open at Swansea Marina service park
6pm - First world rally cars arrive at service park
6.30pm - Children in Need auction, live music

Tomorrow

7am - Gates open at Swansea service park
7.20am - First cars leave Swansea service park
8.18am - First stage, Resolfen
4pm - Doors open at Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, for two special stages
5pm - Entertainment starts and live rally stage
7.23pm - Cars return to Swansea service park

Sunday

6.30am - Gates open at Swansea service park
7am - Cars arrive
7.55am - First stage, Rheola
1pm - Live music at Swansea service park and cars arrive for final time
2.56pm - Ceremonial finish

Stages shortened due to bad weather, SS1 later cancelled

The amount of competitive stage mileage on the opening day of the Rally GB has been significantly reduced due to adverse weather conditions in Wales.

All eight scheduled Friday stages will still run, but the three full-length stages (which will all be used twice) will be shortened, with only part of the planned distance used as a timed stage.

The most significant reduction is to the Hafren stage (SS1 and SS4), which comes down from 19.1 kilometres to 3.67 kilometres (SS1 Cancelled see http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/72328), while SS3/SS6 Myherin is almost............

Sebastien Loeb was gunning for his elusive first win on the welsh roads, and managed to claw back Latvalas lead and clinch his first Wales Rally GB title.

See Rossi finished 12th which is rather impressive - especially given some of the conditions. :D
