My First Girlfriend Is Sixty Today!

Postby Ally McCoist » Sun 24 Jul, 2011 9:32 pm

Just discovered this thanks to the interweb. :partytime: :partytime: :partytime:

Haven't really kept in touch.People were probably right at the time - I was five she was thirty -the age gap was just too much. :shake:

Here she is recently at a premiere for Snowflower and the Secret Fan ;-) But still looking good. :D

Still singing too it seems. Here she is back in the day.Not sure who the little green buddy is in her dressing room is though (slightly jealous smiley)

unlike lynda i'm not sure i want to see wonder woman back.i saw the failed nbc pilot the other day.well the first 15 minutes before i gave up.

even if it hadn't been wonder woman it was appalling.the fact it was meant to be was just, well, insulting.

no, i'm worried any attempt will be a disaster.best stick to superheros people want to see. like the green lantern.

You may yet see Wonder Woman again.Obviously you can't give her her own film - in the 21st century we know a Womans place is in the kitchen not on the Big Screen carrying a movie. But Warners seem to be talking seriously about a Justice League outing in which she would feature along with Superman and Batman. It's still some way off as the current Batman and Superman films would have to finish first.
This might have the advantage that the poor lass chosen to play Wonder Woman wouldn't get totally slaughtered - some people might be deflected by the casting of the other two. :lol)
I think a movie featuring all three could be great.Or the biggest turkey since Honda F1 unveiled their Earth Car.Either way amusement would be very likely. :lol)

She's no Lynda Carter. :shake:

Oh sorry, be more polite to wait until after they have cast someone wouldn't it?

just noticed this time last year i was recommending people miss the green lantern movie which reminded me of this story -

a screenwriter is at work on a new wonder woman film. hardly surprising given the success of the avengers. his identity? you couldn't make it up.
at least there is a long way from script being written to film being made. :pray)

I really enjoyed the Avengers as did the whole family! I struggle to see the whole Justice League thing working though - especially since we have got used to a very depressing sorry I mean realistic interpretation version of Batman. Can't see it all fitting together assuming they could come up with a script (big assumption).

Realistic of course being a relative term when your film contains a man dressed as a giant flying mammal.

(Know what you mean though)
