This one seems to be going ahead, at last as far as the disastrous pilot stage. :P

Their confidence was apparently boosted as they had some success with Arrow (which for non comic book fans or people with a life is about the very very very well known Green Arrow).

some interesting pics in here for superhero buffs. including the hoff.

what it largely does is prove how hard it is to look good in a silly costume. :lol)

Ally McCoist wrote: You may yet see Wonder Woman again.Obviously you can't give her her own film - in the 21st century we know a Womans place is in the kitchen not on the Big Screen carrying a movie. But Warners seem to be talking seriously about a Justice League outing in which she would feature along with Superman and Batman. It's still some way off as the current Batman and Superman films would have to finish first.
This might have the advantage that the poor lass chosen to play Wonder Woman wouldn't get totally slaughtered - some people might be deflected by the casting of the other two. :lol)

It seems Hollywood have wisely followed my advice! And now the previously bizarre decision to cast Ben Affleck as Batman can now be seen for what it is - a cunning attempt to distract from the fact Wonder Woman looks as if a strong breeze would knock her over.

I didn't enjoy Man of Steel. I thought it was humourless, souless, overblown CGI driven tedium.

But a movie with Ben Affleck as Batman sounds like it could be fun.Even if not intentionally.

Supes, Batman and Wonder Woman sharing screen together? I think there is a good sitcom in there somewhere. Not so sure about a good movie though.

i think the new wonder woman is very cute and could actually look the part.

but the problem with man of steel for me wasn't the casting - i thought that was pretty good.what wasn't good was the brain numbing actual film. sorry when kev costner is the most interesting thing in a movie you are in trouble.:yawn)

it will really come down to how they write the character won't it? hoping for the best - but fearing the worst. :lol)

Actually caught an episode of WW earlier today as I was flicking through the channels avoiding conversing with the in-laws. :D

The best TV show I have seen in the last 48 hours was written on the back of an envelope (probably after a couple of strong "herbal cigarettes") in 1977. Does this prove that

a) I have to improve my viewing planning over Xmas

or

b) Modern life is complete clucking rubbish

Went to see Batman v Superman last week and Wonder Woman was one of the best things in it. Though of course this may have been simply relative to the rest of the film. :lol)

Just in case anyone on then planet hasn't seen this - much more entertaining than the movie and several lifetimes shorter.
