the return of the monkey

Postby grandprixmonkey » Sun 16 Nov, 2008 5:45 pm

Hello all - I hope all goes well. Sorry I haven't been on the board in absolutely ages - i've had a massively busy year at work that has meant that whenever I do get home, the last thing i've wanted to do is stare at a computer screen anymore! I've also spent time in China exploring and eating lots of amazing food, writing a novel (hopefully coming to a not so good bookshop near you in the not so distant future), and have also smashed my personal best time in a half marathon by 15 minutes (I reckon i could be world half marathon champion next year at this rate...)

Anyways, enough about my boring life - anything exciting been happening here in the last 8 months?? I haven't got enough time to read through every post, so would someone be able to summarise everything in one paragraph for me....

Cheers

GPM

ps. for fans of the grid squirrels, there could be something worth looking out for on the board in the next few weeks.... :SQ)

Welcome back, you have been missed :D

In the last 8 months as Wacky said, change of hands and move to a different platform (from .com to .co.uk) Frozen Pea is at the technical helm etc.....some peeps have come and gone, a guy that no one knows won the fantasy league ;) and I have grown a baby Mac in my belly...(nearly cooked) I am happy that we may have a new episode of the Grid Squirrels also...you deffo have plenty of plot from this last season to go on :D :D

:welcome: back. :P

Prior to the board changing over we did have a smiley strike so their numbers have recently been re-inforced.

Sounds like you'll have lots of interesting stories for us too.
